Eis Devise ass einfach. Wann d’Madamm net bei d’Wafele ka kommen, da suerge mir dofir, datt d’Wafele bei si kommen. An dat hu si och gemaach.
Eng Wafel gouf extra fir si preparéiert, mat Schlagsan an Äerdbieren. Zwou grouss Këschte mat einfache Wafelen an enger Këscht Pudderzocker fir méi spéit ziessen.
E grousse Bouquet Blummen, Schockela, eng Fläsch Campari an natierlech eise klenge Frënd Mario de Bier. An do souz si, mat engem grousse Laachen am Gesiicht, wéi si deen éischte Maufel geholl huet.

Mme had one big wish left: to go to Belle Etoile one more time to enjoy a delicious waffle… and maybe even have a Campari. A beautiful wish that we started making it happen right away.
The day itself, unfortunately, it became clear that it would be better if she didn’t leave the house after all. Did that mean the wish wouldn’t come true? Absolutely not — we don’t let a wish go unfulfilled just like that. Our motto: If the lady can’t go to the waffles, we make sure the waffles come to her. And oh, did they ever!
A waffle made especially for her with whipped cream and strawberries, two big boxes with plain waffles and a can of powder sugar for later, , a big bouquet of flowers, chocolate, a bottle of Campari, and of course our little friend Mario the bear. And there she sat, with a big smile from ear to ear while taking the first bite…
